Does anyone have any advice on being the best man or any speach advice?

Help out as much as you can with the wedding plans -- volunteer yourself, let the groom know you're there for him... also, for speech, talk about your friend (the groom or the couple) in a way where they will remember their relationship with you, and feel closer to you, also being funny and revealing funny things about your experiences with the couple (within reason of course) always amuses guestsDoes anyone have any advice on being the best man or any speach advice?
You can get some great ideas at the sites below...just don't use them word for word! Good luck...I am sure you will do fine!Does anyone have any advice on being the best man or any speach advice?
dont choke!!!!
just use this formula ....K.I.S.S. .... Keep It Simple Stupid it works every time
dont be drunk or tipsy

wait to drink after you speak

dont eat either wait till its over'

find a small joke about you and friend and say how the other has changed them and made them odd

now they are complete
just speak from the heart a little bit, tell a funny joke or two, and you're golden. However, avoid cliche and trite comments AT ALL COSTS. Don't go off on how you've seen the married couple together and how happy they make each other, blah blah blah...nobody wants to hear a boring speech. If you're really worried, try out your speech on some friends first...
