It is impossible to analyze the case, or give advice, without proper facts. As to why it happened. . . there could be many reasons. . . It happens more and more. . all I know is that it is gross ! A victim of 8 is an innocent child !!! The man is totally at fault !! Some states give the death penalty to a child molester/rapists and I am all for it. . That child will live with that remembrance her whole life ! She will need counseling!!! This is something she will never get over ! No matter how sorry he is, it will not make up for the damage he has done ! I don't know if God will have mercy on him !
It's impossible to analyze without more info. I suspect the man was a repeat offender %26amp; the child was improperly watched over. I'm certain that early childhood abuse of the man served a large part of him wanting to pass on his treatment to others.
he is a sexual predator. he should receive the maximum penalty allowed by law. there should be no concern for any type of rehabilitation for him. our only concern should be for the young victim. the pervert should be required to liquidate any and all assets to assist the girl and her family with therapy, education, etc.

There is no validation, his age is irrelevant. The only questions I have are : Was the man known to be a sex offender, or someone who was criminally dangerously insane or mentally ill? Was there neglect on the part of a person or persons (caretakers or the Justice System)responsible for keeping him from the public and/or children? Was the offender a family member and were the family aware of his mental problems and failed to protect their child?





Any man who rapes or sexually molests a child or any person who sexually assaults another person should get the death penalty IMO.





In cases of Alzheimer's or dementia, mental illness or disease that has created this kind of sexual aggression and behaviour then someone is or should be accountable for controlling his behaviour, there are medications for one thing, and making sure he is kept from the public in a secure facility.





Society is far too ready to try and excuse criminal behavior.
