I’m a larger man, lot of muscle and good amount of “padding”. Anyone to offer advice for supplements/training?

I’m 24 yrs old, and have always been a rather “larger” man. I dont think anyone would call me fat, but husky and thick are definitely target words to describe me. I am 5’11” and currently weigh 255. Even after 4 years of the Marines and all of its intense workouts, along with my own personal training, I was only able to get down to 210 and look decent. Built, but not cut. I find it very easy to gain muscle mass, but its the fat that I have such a hard time losing.

I know they all say, “ya just gotta eat proper and exercise regularly”. Well, I now have a full time job, going to college full time, and just had my first child, so dieting properly and exercising regularly is even harder now than ever.

Lot of people have been saying that I need to try Muscle Milk, and drink it twice daily, once between breakfast/lunch, and once between lunch/dinner. Apparently its supposed to boost my metabolism and greatly decrease my fat amount. Any suggestions/help about any of this? Thanks!I’m a larger man, lot of muscle and good amount of “padding”. Maybe what you have there is not fat but water retention that makes your muscles not cut. Reduce your sodium levels, cut down on salt and sugar, or if your'e willing to go hardcore, take foods without oil and sodium like seasoning sauces, salad dressing, salt or sugar, just plain boiled or steamed foods for around 3 weeks, and you'll see results very soon.

I would recommend you to take carbohydrate and protein type foods for breakfast and lunch, and protien and vege foods for dinner. No carbohydrates for dinner, because its the time your activities are the least. Carbohydrates releases a lot of energy, and energy that are not used will be converted to fats. Protein also releases energy, but much slower than carbohydrates, and its being absorbed by the muscles.

Muscle milk increases energy for your workout, metabolism is increased from your workouts. by the way, try taking fish oil, it helps in fat loss in the body, has lots of omega 3, and also good for joint recovery.I’m a larger man, lot of muscle and good amount of “padding”. MUSCLE MILK IS A WASTE OF MONEY.

the best supplements in the world are the BSN line, Syntha 6, atro phex, nitrix, you have to stack these to get best resaults. i am 15 and i also am 5 11 and i weigh 205. Im not cut, but i have been stacking these for about 3 weeks and i can see great improvement, i have also lost 12 pounds of pure fat.
Eliminate all carbs for a time and you will get the cuts you are looking for and its an easy diet to follow.
